Does exercising play a major role in our lifes-Cross Country Meet

Does exercise really play an important role in our daily lifes? With the hectic life of most people in all age category, one would have difficulty finding time to exercise. Rather, most of them would be too tired to exercise when they come back home. This has caused laziness in people to exercise even if they were given a choice.With the trend of unhealthy lifestyles in youths and adults alike increasing, people are certain to bear the consequences if they continue this way.Actually exercising has a lot of benefits to us. Exercising at least 6 times a week and 30 minutes for each session is the ideal length of time one should exercise. Exercising also can reduces the risk of a person getting diseases such as, heart disease, cancer, diabetes and many others. Exercising can also help you keep in shape or lose weight. Rather than regularly going to slimming centres, why don't you try the most efficient and cost-freindly way of slimming down. It can also help obese people to lose weight, it only depends on whether one is willing or not. So there shouldn't be any reason like being tired or laziness to keep you away from exercising.This Wednesday is Hwa Chong's annual cross-country run. The entire school including all staffs will be running too. The purpose of the annual cross-country meet is to make sure that students and staffs keep a healthy lifestyle by exercising regularly. It consists of a Mass Run and a Competitive one. I will be participating in the competitive race so I hope I will not have any problems on that day itself. i believe the school's effort to hold this cross-country meet annually is good as it allows students to come together and run for a day and it also stresses on maintaining a healthy lifestyle by exercising regularly.
